On April 10, 2019 Professor Josep Torró, a member of Landscapes of Conquest, participated in the Permanent Seminar ‘Frontera, Fortificación y Territorio en la Edad Media’, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where he gave the lecture “Frontera, fortificación y asentamientos cristianos en el reino de Valencia Frontera, fortificación y asentamientos cristianos en el reino de Valencia”. In it he spoke of various aspects of the transformations that took place after the Christian conquest of the Kingdom of Valencia in the middle of the 13th century.
